Questions
- How does editing a scan work?
- The page is recognized (OCR) in your browser. When you change a line, it is redrawn from the scan’s own letters, on the scan’s slant, and the rest of the page stays untouched.
- What about stamps and signatures?
- They stay. Only the letters you change are redrawn; a stamp over them is kept.
- Which languages are recognized?
- English and Ukrainian on these pages; for German, Norwegian or Swedish documents, switch the site’s language at the top.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. The PDF is opened, changed and saved in your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so it works with confidential documents too.
